‘Hands On Learning – Practice & Experience’ is about hands-on learning, the benefits derived from learning through making, set in a variety of educational contexts. ‘Hands On Learning – Practice & Experience’ is to provide an insight into the value of experiential learning practices. The book aims to offer inspiration for a hands-on approach to a variety of practical skills & knowledge that can be developed in an outdoor classroom setting.

We will be drawing on contemporary research and practices throughout the UK, as well as personal reflections provided by experienced practitioners, that offer an alternative view on educational practices and insights to the debate as to how we can inspire children to be ‘makers’ for the future.
